Task

The acquisition of measured data in experimental fluid mechanics is irreplaceable. As a rule, computer-aided methods are used for this purpose. In order to gain experience in computer-aided data acquisition and to deal intensively with the subject, the ITS offers its students a practical course lasting several days. Students learn the basic principles of data acquisition and apply them in practice.

We are looking for a student assistant to help prepare and carry out the internship and to support the research assistants and participating students during the internship.

The work of the student assistant includes the following tasks:

• Familiarization with computer-aided data acquisition using LabView
• Preparation of the internship for computer-aided flow measurement technology in advance
• Supporting the scientific staff and acting as a contact personduring the internship

The course will take place from October 9th until October 17th 2025.
